Alachua Interchange Study Project Logo
Interstate 75 is an important north-south corridor in Florida, carrying people to work, home and play. Near the City of Alachua, motorists have enjoyed mostly rural scenery and less congestion in years past, but with today’s diversifying economy, traffic is beginning to increase.

The Florida Department of Transportation, the City and County of Alachua and WACO Properties, Inc., are partnering to study ways to alleviate the anticipated future congestion. It’s a process that will require input from all stakeholders: residents, business and property owners, and motorists.

This web site provides information about the project and opportunities to get involved. Click on a section link to the left to get started.
